Photonis Photomultipliers

Photonis announced on 9 March 2009 that they will stop the manufacture of photomultipliers within the next few months. We regarded them as a formidable competitor and have always been impressed by their technical expertise, and abilty to develop and manufacture high quality products over many years. We are sorry to hear that they will not be able to continue in the photomultiplier business.

ET Enterprises Ltd would like to assure its customers that we are planning for a strong and continuing demand for photomultipliers in the diverse sectors that we have traditionally supplied for many years. Part of this plan was the move of the UK operation to a new and much improved location in October 2008, and the integration of the ADIT range of pmts in May 2007.

Customers of Photonis who are concerned about the continuity of supply are invited to contact ET Enterprises for advice on alternative types. In many cases we can offer direct plug-in replacements but we would be pleased to discuss your needs. Suggested ETEL alternatives for some of the more popular Photonis types are given below.
