Current Vacancies
May 2010: we currently have the following 2 vacancies:
ET Enterprises requires an Analogue Electronics Design Engineer for its expanding electronics design section. The preferred candidate will have experience of analogue circuit design for up to 1 GHz bandwidth in low power, low noise circuits commonly used for optical detectors. Experience in the simulation and test of circuits and the realization of products ready for production is also anticipated.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an aptitude for simulation, design, and realization of high speed electronic circuitry. Your skills and knowledge will be relevant to the design and realization of:
fast analogue amplifiers
amplifier discriminators
low noise, high efficiency, high-voltage power supplies
integrated combinations of the above
You will be proficient with Electrical and mechanical design software, and PSpice simulation software. Additionally you are likely to be at least degree qualified in electronics or applied physics with relevant design and commercial experience and be comfortable working in a small customer focused engineering team.

ET Enterprises requires a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its photomultiplier and electronics design section. The preferred candidate will have experience of mechanical design of thin metal components and CNC machined parts.
Candidate profile
The successful applicant will have demonstrated an aptitude for mechanical design of components and component tooling and a good knowledge of hand and machine assembly processes.
The role will involve
Design and production of engineering drawings to relevant drawing standards.
Procurement of component parts from external suppliers and in-house machining facilities.
Supervision of the assembly of prototype designs.
Design and engineering support for existing product lines.
Preparation of BOMs and manufacturing routings for new products being transferred to production.
The successful candidate will be a proficient user mechanical design software, ideally AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor and be comfortable working in a small customer focused engineering team. Previous experience with MRP manufacturing systems would be beneficial and a working knowledge of office suite software is essential.

Our products are used in demanding light detection applications including medicine, homeland security, pollution monitoring, and oil exploration. We have approximately 100 people in the UK involved in the development, sales and marketing, and manufacture of photomultipliers and electronics.
